Hollie's Dedication

We dedicated our sweet little Hollie to the Lord, on October 17th, 2009.

Dear God, we ask that you would help us, walk along side us, as we raise sweet Hollie in your ways. Oh that she would Love Jesus..... that she she would grow to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with you God. (Micah 6:8)

The word we continued getting through out my pregnancy as we would pray for the baby growing inside my womb was "light." That is why her middle name is Elia; meaning light. And has she ever been that to all 4 of us, in every way!! There were times through out my pregnancy where I was anxious about having three; and doing it well. But let me tell you, Hollie has blessed our family in so many ways, words can't even begin to describe! The minute she was born she brought such delight to our hearts. Her smiles (she's always smiling) have brought such joy (even in the midst of hardship). Now her laughter; it is so amazing! Music to my ears. She has taught us so much, she is almost always content (even when she was very sick last winter she didn't even fuss) We love you dear Hollie, we are so thankful for you, you are a true gift of God's grace to us (my definition of grace being: receiving what one is unworthy of). You are a gift that we treasure with all our hearts....our family would not be complete without you. xoxo (sniff....sniff)
