Ryan walked this big huge watermelon all the way home for our Father's day feast in the hot sun and humid air!! thanks honey... Then precious neighbors saw him carrying it home and brought over some roll kuchen (aka fefernufen or other names around here lol)which is now our favorite thing to eat!! Does anyone have a good recipe for it we could try??

here's the recipe

4 cups of flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
1 cup sour cream
1 cup milk
4 eggs
1/3 cup margarine
mix together....roll dough out on floured board....cut into 2x4 inch strips, cut 2 slits in each strip....fry in deep fat (like donuts).....turn over when one side is done....serve with watermelon or borsht.
